Robert Williams

Robert is a director at Artesian, joining in 2017. Based in Sydney, Robert leads Artesian's agrifood VC investment activities and is a portfolio manager for the GrainInnovate Fund and SproutX VC Fund.

Artesian's agrifood VC strategy encompasses the broad agriculture and food value chain, including a focus on opportunities that have positive embedded climate and natural asset outcomes, and that have the potential to enhance global food security and sustainable agriculture.

Prior to joining Artesian, Robert most recently worked as a manager within the agricultural investment team at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, a division within the asset management arm of the Macquarie Group.

Robert graduated with a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University.
