Guy Newton

Guy leads Artesian’s dual-use critical technology business, Arco, that focuses on supporting startups aligned with Australia’s national interests in areas such as space, advanced computing, and robotics.

Guy joined Artesian in 2020 and has a diverse background that includes military leadership, media, adtech, SaaS and several ongoing entrepreneurial projects across e-commerce and software development. Prior to Artesian, Guy spent time in Singapore driving a crucial part of Google's ad monetisation business throughout Southeast Asia and was a member of the leadership team looking after the commercial and operations group at the Indonesian tax startup OnlinePajak.

Guy completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New England and his MBA at The Australian Graduate School of Management.
